High-Difficulty Dehydration Treatment Technical Service Project for Shale Oil (Dehydration Capacity: 3,000 m³/d)
Integrated Full-Gravity-Balanced Oil-Gas-Water Treatment Unit

  To drive technological breakthroughs and efficient development of shale oil, a fully gravity-balanced, integrated shale-oil dehydration unit has been independently developed based on the unique dehydration characteristics of shale oil—namely, its small droplet size, high interfacial film pressure, and high degree of emulsification—thereby enabling efficient, economical, and rapid dehydration of shale oil.


  The integrated unit combines oil–gas–water separation, high-frequency pulse intelligent dehydration, multi-stage gas separation and mist elimination, and buffer storage into a single system, representing a pressurized, closed-loop, short-process technology for shale oil dehydration.

 

  The integrated unit has been successfully deployed at the National Demonstration Station for Shengli Shale Oil, with a total processing capacity of 3,000 m³/d. The feed liquid has a water content ranging from 5% to 68%, while the produced oil exhibits an average water content of 0.18%, meeting the export delivery specifications (water content ≤ 1.5%). The produced water has an average oil content of 7.85 mg/L.

This unit operates at a processing temperature of 75°C, which is 5–10°C lower than that of conventional processes; the demulsifier dosage is 300 mg/L, representing a 60–70% reduction compared with traditional methods; the energy consumption per ton of oil processed (4.04 kgce) is 20–30% lower than in conventional processes; the footprint is reduced by 62%; and the operating cost per ton of oil is lowered by 35–40%.
